We operate our own Bosch Car Service Centre and dedicated Vehicle Preparation Centre, allowing us to maintain greater
control over the preparation of the cars we sell. Vehicles undergo extensive mechanical and diagnostic checks, including our comprehensive 200-point inspection and Redgate Lodge Assured Check. Our technicians have access to advanced diagnostic equipment and our preparation process can include servicing, MOT
testing, mechanical repairs, tyres, brakes, suspension, diagnostics and other necessary work.

We also check vehicles for outstanding manufacturer recalls and arrange for applicable recall work to be completed.

Rather than simply preparing a vehicle to pass an MOT, our objective is to prepare it to a standard we’d be
comfortable selling to a customer travelling hundreds of miles to collect it.

Buying an electric or hybrid car from further afield?

Buying a used electric or hybrid vehicle can create additional questions, particularly around battery condition,
servicing and the technology involved. That’s why qualifying electric vehicles can benefit from independent battery health testing, providing additional
information about the condition and State of Health of one of the vehicle’s most valuable components. Our Bosch Car Service operation also has the equipment and trained technicians required to service and maintain
hybrid and electric vehicles.

Part-exchanging your current car

Living outside the North East doesn’t prevent you from part-exchanging your existing vehicle.

Speak with our sales team and provide the requested information about your current car, including its registration,
mileage, service history, specification and condition.

Where required, we may ask for photographs or additional information to help us assess the vehicle as accurately as
possible before you travel.

This means much of the buying process can be discussed before your journey to Newcastle.

Finance your next car

If you’re considering funding your next vehicle, our team can explain the finance options available and provide
quotations before you travel.

Applications and much of the documentation can be handled remotely, helping to make your collection day as
straightforward as possible.

Stay the Night on Us

If you’re travelling more than 100 miles to collect your new vehicle, we’ll even help make the journey part of the
experience.

Qualifying customers purchasing a vehicle from Redgate Lodge can enjoy a complimentary overnight stay at the Village
Hotel located directly opposite our dealership. Arrive the evening before your collection, enjoy the hotel’s facilities and collect your new car the following day without having to complete a long return journey in one day.

It’s particularly useful for customers travelling from Scotland, Yorkshire, Manchester, the Midlands, North West, South East and other parts of the UK.

Arriving by train or plane? We’ll collect you

You don’t necessarily need to drive to us.

Customers travelling by rail or air can speak with our team about our complimentary collection service from Newcastle
Central Station or Newcastle International Airport.

Prefer to have your car delivered?

Nationwide vehicle delivery is available on qualifying vehicles.

Our team can explain the available options, costs and eligibility for the particular vehicle you’re interested in.
